About The Department

The Basic Science and Humanities department of Jyothi Engineering College started functioning right from the inception of the college in 2002. The department provides aspiring engineers with an education in the finer points of science, enabling them to investigate, create, and contribute to the future development of technology. The department is equipped with efficient, eminent, and experienced faculties. The professional efficacy of a technocrat depends on the subtle integration of positive personality traits and technical expertise.

The Department of Basic Science and Humanities, being the foundation of engineering, is responsible for strengthening the very first understanding of the engineering profession that binds subjects of universal application such as English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, economics, and management sciences. Unless strongly grounded in the fundamentals of pure sciences and theories, no technocrat will ever develop innovative thinking and application efficiency in the professional domain.
