The Department Library has a collection of around 1000 textbooks as well as project reports and seminar works carried out by the students. The library has an annual subscription for CSI Communications and Open Source For You. It also has a collection of technical journals in various fields. It also has software CDs of various Linux Distros.

Covid derailed all systems and with them education too. Moving to virtual mode was our way to recuperate from the blows dealt by the pandemic. But the transition was hard in the face of the digital divide that made it impossible for many motivated students even to effectively be part of the teaching learning process. It was imperative that, as teachers committed to our students that we intervene to help them. We4You was a humble attempt in this direction. The idea was to lend laptops at low rates so that students can use them for their academic works and to effectively engage in virtual class delivery. Patronage was sought from the alumni of our department who responded overwhelmingly to our call for help.
