    National Science Day Celebrations – 2017

    Jyothi Engineering College Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur celebrated the National Science Day on 28th February 2017, sponsored by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) and supported by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. It was inaugurated by Dr. K M Durga Devi, Professor, Kerala Agricultural University, Vellanikkara.The gathering was welcomed by Fr. John Tharayil, Head of the Department, Basic Science and Humanities Department. Dr. K K Babu, Principal delivered the Presidential address. This was followed by a special address by Fr. Roy Joseph Vadakkan, Asst. Manager, Academics & Administration.There was a Science lecture on the topic Science and Technology for specially abled persons by Dr. K M Durga Devi.In connection with the National Science day celebrations, a Science quiz competition was conducted on 22nd February 2017.
