Nestled within the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) domain, this specialization seamlessly integrates AI and Data Science with core CSE fundamentals, positioning students at the forefront of technological advancements.
The curriculum, extending beyond traditional CSE subjects, encompasses diverse courses, including probability and statistics modeling, data science, machine learning, AI, big data analytics, deep learning, and business analytics. Hands-on experiences in well-equipped labs ensure a robust understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical applications.

The program's flexibility shines through elective buckets covering areas such as Security in Computing, Computer Programming, Machine Learning Infrastructures, Computer Vision, and Computational Linguistics.
In the sixth semester, students face comprehensive coursework and undertake a mini project, bridging theory and application. The comprehensive viva voce in the eighth semester evaluates their understanding of core subjects studied throughout the program.
The pinnacle of the course is Project Phase I, extending over the 7th and 8th semesters, providing students an opportunity to synthesize knowledge and apply analytical skills. Project Phase II & Dissertation further extends the investigative study initiated in Phase I, encompassing theoretical, practical, or a combination of both.
Beyond the major, students can pursue a Minor by accumulating 20 credits in a discipline other than their major. This customizable option allows students to tailor their engineering degree to their specific interests. For academically outstanding students, the option for Honours is available. By earning an extra 20 credits within their discipline, students can gain expertise and specialization, preparing them for advanced studies or specialized areas in their branch of engineering.
