TOON TIME : Cartoon Making Competition
The IEEE-WIE SB JECC in collaboration with IEEE-WIE AISAT SB and IEEE-WIE CEK SB conducted an online "TOON TIME : Cartoon Making Competition" as part of the WIEbiela : WIE WEEK CELEBRATION 2023. The cartoon making competition is to showcase one's sense of artistry related to character design and sense of artistry. The topic for the cartoon making was 'Work Life Balance of Women in STEM'. The competition was judged by a panel of experts, which included renowned cartoonists and faculty members from collaborating colleges. The judges evaluated the cartoons based on criteria such as creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme. Prizes were awarded to the top two winners, and certificates of participation were given to all participants. The winners of the competition were Sandra Saji of MASAP Kottayam, and Fathima Thasneem of MITS Varikoli.
