About Us
IEEE is a non profit professional association with more than 3,67,000 members including 73,000 students in over 150 countries. The global organization helps and supports development and application of technology and science around the world for the benefit of the humanity, the individual and the professional IEEE serves as a major publisher of scientific journals and as a conference organizer. It is also a leading developer of industrial standards in broad range of disciplines including electric power, and energy, biomedical technology and health care, information technology, information assurance, telecommunications and nano technology. IEEE develops and participates in educational activities such as accreditation of electrical engineering programmes in institutions of higher learning.
A unit of IEEE functions in our college and our members take active part in its programmes. HUB level and National level programmes are organized in the college. WIE (Wowen in Engineering), an affinity group of IEEE is also very active in the campes.

Mission
To create technically competent and ethically conscious graduates in the field of Computer Science and Engineering by encouraging holistic learning and excellence. To prepare students for careers in Industry, Academia and the Government. To instill Entrepreneurial Orientation and research motivation among the students of the department. To emerge as a leader in education in the region by encouraging teaching, learning, industry and societal connect.
